EDUCATION AND LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
- BLS certification required.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE:
- One-year experience as a Registered Nurse; experience with an elderly population preferred

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Able to quickly build and maintain rapport with patients and providers of differing backgrounds; team player
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Experience/familiarity with PACE program and Electronic Medical Records systems.
- Previous Home Health experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to reach, bend, climb, stoop and lift and carry up to 20 lbs of medical/office supplies for routine performance of essential job functions
- Emergency response capabilities for possible crisis situations
- Must have annual TB test &/or complete TB questionnaire annually
- Manual dexterity and strength sufficient to enter information via computer keyboard for long periods of time, to write notes and information as needed, and to pick up and hold paperwork, supplies and other items
- Speaking and hearing ability sufficient to handle phone and in-person conversations with patients/clients, clinicians and other staff and to listen to breathing, pulse and circulation, as part of patient examination and treatment
- Visual acuity and reading ability sufficient to effectively read records and documents, and to accurately view information on a computer monitor
- Normal tactile feeling required to perform duties, including taking patient’s pulse.
- Eye/hand coordination, hearing and visual acuity necessary for driving safely
The pay range for this Exempt position starts at $93,631 a year. Our salary ranges are dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.
