Under the Supervision of the Health Information Manager, the HIT Support Analyst will assist in the ongoing support of the electronic health record, practice management system, disease registry and other clinical information systems.
A primary role will be to provide training & support of employees on all the health information technology systems and applications. This position will also be responsible for being the primary support to troubleshoot, resolve, and address HIT system issues. The position will also engage in regular tasks involved in the EHR maintenance, such as lab mapping, pharmacy refill matching, and trouble-shooting interface or system issues. The position will involve working with HIT system vendors to resolve application issues.
Work is performed in an office environment. Involves frequent contact with staff and the public. Occasional stress from dealing with diverse customers and demands. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Normal office environment. Occasional evening or weekend work. On-site workplace environment including indoor and outdoor responsibilities. Exposure to cleaning fluids and toxic materials.
